The Giants have signed cornerback Corey Webster to a five-year contract extension worth $43 million.
Webster will receive $20 million in guaranteed money under the deal that runs through 2013. He would have been a free agent at the end of the season.
"Corey has been a outstanding person and player in his short career for the Giants," GM Jerry Reese said. "We are very happy to get this deal done."

Cowboys Reach Deal With Colombo
The Cowboys have reportedly reached an agreement with offensive lineman Mark Colombo to keep him in Dallas through the 2012 season.
According to two sources, a four-year extension was agreed upon.
Colombo was set to become a free agent at the conclusion of the season.
